thursday 5th july

today has been the most stressfull of all the rest. everyone has been all over the place trying to complete everything, ready for our presentation. mark and wasila begun with video editing while stav and ebru started the posters. we had to think of ways of presenting our work for friday(tommorow). we have designed posters for adults, children and even the littlens… :=)

today was nerve wraking but tommorw will reveal, we count on it all going well. attached to this blog are examples of our completed posters for today.

wednesday 4th july 2007

Our third day of work experience has been great, to begin with  we were showed a  few clips from bbc on how to create our own video and advert, whilst making notes on the tips we were given we thought of ways of presenting our video so that it was appeal yet professional. we were then  introduced to our group camera and were told to mess around with it until we were positive on how to use it(which helped alot). After lunch we began recording clips of our video and at this prosise moment mark and wasila have began to edit it. video recording was great fun and the best part of it was that we did it ‘together’. :=))

Tuesday 3rd July 

well to begin with we were introduced to shian who will be taking us for the next few days. Our task for today was to create a podcast as a group for our company (Media Mad). While attempting to create a podcast we all released this uncontrollable laugh, through this we couldn’t get our Podcast ready on time but as ‘mad’ as we are we were able to complete it by the end of the day. Before doing the podcast we were asked to create a brainstorm relating to our ideal classroom. we created our brainstorm on software called ‘OpenMind’ and we had found it really good considering it had been our fist time using the software. To finish off the day we all had to clean the mess we made. :=%

Monday 2 July
We arrived at CLC and signed in, we were then directed to the room we will be in for the rest of the week. We were held back by a few late comers (that finally arrived). When chris had settled everyone we were then told to come up with a company name to do with media creations, we all found this quite difficult seen as we were not told what our project will be based on. After coming up with our company name (media mad) we were then told to create company paperwork, such as, letterheads, memo’s, a fax cover sheet, Etc. This worked out to be a little confusing because we had to have the same font, same page style and every added little detail had to be the same (but we finally (hense the word ‘finally’) got through it. :=)
